Comfort on Board

Measuring approximately 33 metres in length and 12 metres in width, Ryoma I is a spacious catamaran with just nine guest rooms on board.
The main-floor corridor is approximately 2.2 metres wide, providing ample space for guests to comfortably pass one another, even with suitcases.
Thanks to the stability of its catamaran design, Ryoma I offers a smooth and comfortable onboard experience, creating a relaxing space where you may almost forget you are out at sea.
Guest Rooms

(Left: Deluxe Room / Right: Standard Room)
Ryoma Cruise offers 3 Deluxe Rooms with private shower and toilet facilities, and 6 Standard Rooms with access to shared facilities.
For guests staying in Standard Rooms, separate shared facilities are available for men and women, each with 2 shower/toilet rooms and 1 additional toilet.
All guest rooms offer beautiful views of the Palauan sea.
Each room is furnished with regular beds rather than bunk beds and includes ample storage space, providing a comfortable and spacious setting for your stay on board.
Our onboard toilets are equipped with washlets, a rare convenience even among hotels in Palau.
The vessel is also fitted with a water-making system, allowing guests to enjoy showers with reliable, strong water pressure throughout the cruise.
Japanese-Style Tatami Lounge “Take-no-Ma”

One of the most distinctive spaces on board is Take-no-Ma, our Japanese-style tatami lounge.
After a day of diving, guests can gather here to fill out their dive logs or enjoy photos and videos on the large-screen TV.
In the evening, it becomes a relaxing space where you can simply stretch out and unwind.
Bow Deck & Rooftop Jacuzzi

The bow deck features comfortable deck chairs where you can sit back and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze, while the rooftop deck is equipped with a jacuzzi overlooking the ocean.
Surrounded by the beautiful waters of Palau, you may feel as though you have the entire ocean to yourself.
At night, be sure to look up and enjoy the spectacular star-filled sky.
Dining

Enjoy delicious meals prepared with care by our Japanese chef.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are generally served buffet-style on the open deck on the second level, where you can dine while taking in the atmosphere of Palau.
Our menu features a variety of Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes, as well as local Palauan specialties and organic fruits unique to the islands.
Please inform us in advance of any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Diving Facilities
Ryoma I is fully equipped with an onboard Nitrox filling system, and Nitrox is available free of charge throughout your cruise.
For guests who do not yet hold a Nitrox certification, a Nitrox Specialty course is also available on board for an additional fee.
The rear deck provides dedicated space for divers, including camera rinse tanks and drying areas for wetsuits and other dive gear.
A spin dryer is also available, helping your swimwear dry more quickly between dives. Laundry service is available for an additional fee upon request.
Dive Sites Just Minutes Away!
For each dive, guests transfer from Ryoma I to a speedboat for a short ride to the dive site.
Many of Palau’s popular dive sites, which can take 45 to 60 minutes to reach on a day trip from Koror, are located approximately 10 minutes away when diving from Ryoma I.
Less travel time means more time to relax and enjoy your diving experience.
Enjoy Palau’s Famous Dive Sites with Fewer Crowds♪
During busy seasons in Palau, more than 10 dive boats may gather at a single popular dive site.
When diving from Ryoma I, we can often plan our dive times to avoid the busiest periods, when day-trip boats from Koror tend to arrive. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy Palau’s famous dive sites in a more relaxed and uncrowded atmosphere, even during peak season.
Ryoma I also offers greater flexibility when timing is essential, such as when aiming to see manta rays feeding in accordance with the tides.
Experiences Only a Liveaboard Can Offer
Ryoma I offers expedition-style cruises to remote areas that are far beyond the reach of ordinary day trips from Koror, including Velasco Reef in the far north of Palau and the remote island reef of Helen Reef in the far south.
Discover a different side of Palau through adventures made possible only by a liveaboard cruise.
Another special attraction of a liveaboard is the experience of spending 24 hours surrounded by the ocean. Ryoma I can also offer midnight dives at offshore dive sites, giving guests the chance to search for unusual nocturnal marine life in a truly unique setting.
“Remote expeditions and midnight dives are available on selected itineraries and are subject to sea conditions.”
